Personally, I thought "More Than a Woman" was a better song than "Rock The Boat." But I found myself singing RTB randomly today. lol IDK. I just always wondered about that... ya know? The single choices --- had she stayed with the first choice, would she been here today? It's kinda hard to think about it. I LOVED her very last studio album.

I feel the same. I mean I love Rock The Boat but More Than A Woman just captures me everytime. I sing it all the time randomly throughout the day.

Anyway I hate to think about would she be here today if she kept MTAW as her 2nd single. It's just too hard for me to think about and sad that she isn't here.

Aaliyah herself didnt like this performance very much..

It would have went top 10 if a commercial single was released to it for a boost.. all the songs aaliyah put out with a cd single went top 10 (besides try again)

A lot of Aaliyah's singles weren't released as commercial singles... just like Britney. Why was that? Did the label want her to sell more albums?

I'm assuming either blackground was just being cheap, or they just wanted people to focus on buying the whole album, rather than just the single

You can tell by her stage presence, she has that 'I just ****ed up' look.

But regardless, shes amazing.

I guess she has a kind of ehish look to be her but to be honest this is my favorite performance by her. I love how she sings with a lower register for this song, compared to the studio version and how she is dancing AND singing live. Simple, Sexy not raunchy but Sexy in a classy way. Just Perfection for me.
