I've known of her previous personas and never did she have this much intensity or personality with her music. I remember when being a hipster was cool, she was a hipster, and when doing pop-rap was cool she was a pop-rap artist. Now doing pop with a dark, dramatic edge is cool and she is doing it. The whole "perfection is a lifestyle" and "dark pop" although good, sounds so much like Gaga to me. I'm not one to claim that Gaga invented everything but I just see too many parallels even down to the people she is working with.
I love Zombie, but she is going to need more than that to slay and convince me otherwise.
