Just download the I-Tunes program for free from their website. Make yourself an account. And to put money on your account (to purchase songs and/or albums), buy an i-tunes card from a store (Wal-mart, best buy, target, etc). The amount the card costs is how much credit will be put on your account. You'll scratch that gray sticker off the back of the card and enter that code to get the credit. My account right now is at like $1.68. I redeem with a $50 card I get back to $51.68. There is no sales tax on these gift cards. It wold be $50 even, or $15 or $25. I started out with a $15 card. I-Tunes does take up a lot of space on the computer though.
