No, it wouldn't have fit with TFM at all, TFM has a definite and obvious theme and PG would have stuck out like a sore thumb, even Telephone doesn't completely fit.

PF was more iconic, it's more memorable. It's her signature song along with Bad Romance.

It does. In this case, it's the guy who is superficial, materialistic & artificial. Paper = money, one of the album's themes that ties in w/ fame.

Those 2 songs are amazing and she could have something even better in store for us. I think a really good ballad next winter could do amazingly. It's Gaga, it certainly won't flop.

No, I want amazing pop songs with a killer chorus to be singles.
Ballads like Speechless are great album material, I mean... Speechless already sold 200K.

She has had 2 albums and no ballads as singles, I think she will do one this era and you will still get your amazing pop songs as well. Have a little faith.

No, Paper Gangsta has NOTHING to do with the theme of TFM. What Nicole say's explains perfectly. Gaga moved up a level musically with TFM and Paper Gangsta just isn't up to par with the other songs, never mind that it has nothing to do with the theme.
And Telephone doesn't actually fit on either album, it is a fantastic song and obviously Gaga knew it would smash but I think it is very obvious that Gaga didn't write it for her albums, she just adored the song and wanted to hear it blowing up everywhere.

She better not release a ballad, that might become her first flop.

Yeah, Telephone doesn't fit, and her explanation for why it's on the album is a real stretch.
I think it's a pretty forgettable song too.

You shouldn't write anything off before you even hear it
If she releases a ballad I guarantee you will be stanning for it with all your might. Don't put your foot in your mouth so soon.

Maybe you're right, but I just don't see it happening.
