Dude, nobody capitalizes off that kind of stuff. Artists write music based off of events like this to get their opinions and feelings out. Not to capitalize from it. Nobody is that heartless. (Well, some people might be, but not Ke$ha. Not after her childhood.)
Also, the song doesn't directly address teen suicides. The whole point of the song is to be proud of who you are; don't be ashamed of yourself. That connects to teen suicide for obvious reasons. People really need to read between the lines.
