Guilty Pleasure Album Review
Acting Out
I thought the the intro was interesting and the drums used throughout the song were intense. Oddly, the chorus is not the best part of the song, the verses are. Her voice fits well despite it being high-pitched. The bridge was uninteresting to me. I thought it was an adequate way to start the album.

Its Alright, Its Ok
I think this is a very fitting single. The chorus is the highlight but it is unfortunate that it overshadows the rest of the song. The song is a little too girly for me though. This actually reminds me of Kelly Clarkson a little, in both voice and in song style. Love the emotion that is used when she sings.

Masquerade
The verses are catchy though a little too faded for my taste. Even with her annoying voice, the pop-rock sound fits her well.

Overrated
I enjoy the Instrumental that is used. Her voice is nice in this song but the chorus is a slight let down. My favorite line is "the mirror is shattered I'm finally free"

Hot Mess
This song start of soft but it werqs well. The harmony right before the the chorus is great an the Oh-oh-ohs in the chorus are spread out well and sound amazing.

How Do You Love Someone
The instrumental is nice, and I love how this song has a darker sound than the other ones. THe lyrics are great and her voice suits the song. I really dislike the fact that there is a period of no singing towards the end. I'm not here for that.

Tell Me Lies
I love the verses in this song and the chorus is great. The lyrics are actually interesting and I enjoyed them just as much as I enjoyed "How Do You Love Someone's " lyrics. The build up from the start of the song till the end is great. I love the part at the end in which she says "tell me lies " a few times

What If

This is a ballad and I have to say that I don't really like it much, Her high pitched voice is more obvious because of the song's stripped back, nature. Her voice is irritating and the chorus is meh.

Erase and Rewind *Best Song
*
The beginning is hot and the song has great placement after the ballad. The chorus has weird notes being used together but it sounds amazing, Everything about this song is so good. You would not believe the life I get when she says "I'll wait for, I'll wait for you, I'll wait for you, Yeah-yeah-yeah" during the bridge. This song is all the tea I need.

Hair
The song is quiet and energetic at the same time. It is an interesting topic of choice to sing about. Not much else to say, its not bad but it doesn't stand out, though I do like when she keeps saying "mess it up, mess it up"

Delete You
The beginning of the song is strong as are the lyrics. The chorus seems to be good enough. However it really does say something when you have to keep the listeners interest by adding a mechanical voice towards the end of the song.

Me Without You
This is also a ballad and it is much better than "What If". Her voice actually sounds good. The build up is also good.

Crank It Up
The song is HAWT

, the chrous is smexy, and although the voice is not outstanding in a song like this, it doesn't matter.

Switch
The beat is cool. Her high -pitched voice is "uhhh" once again. I feel as if this is a forgettable song, The chorus is nice I guess.

Overall- I would have to say that this album has been a pleasant surprise for me. I was expecting so much less and I was blown away. That said, there are reasons why I did not like it. Her voice

, Its annoying and high-pitched and you just can't ignore the problem in some of her songs. The album filler like Switch and a few other songs are useless and it seems like she could have made better songs. I do have to say that some of these songs will be going into my iTunes library eventually. Good Job Tisdale
