There's been plenty of EPs released in the past, but TFM was the first re-release released as a stand alone EP thus modernising the way in which record companies release music. In the not too distant future, EPs will probably replace albums altogether because they are not cost effective, especially not for new artists. Ke$ha would not have released in this format had it not been for Lady GaGa, give credit where it's due.
