Nadine Coyle's planned guest performance on The X Factor has been scrapped, according to a source.
MTV reports that the singer, who was rumoured to be performing her new solo single 'Insatiable' on the show, has been replaced by Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am.
"The X Factor wants only the biggest names and stars to perform. This is a show which gets up to 20 million viewers watching every week, the show doesn't need third-rate performers and flop acts", a source said.
"Nadine was originally being considered for a slot, however bosses decided they could get more famous singers", the insider concluded.
The X Factor continues this Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV1.
Now I have to watch her flop and will.i.am perform that horrendous song with that drag.
Digital Spy are not reliable, I hope this is not true.
To be honest, I wouldn't blame them for cancelling her appearance if she was scheduled in the first place. Her song is not getting any Airplay, and if it was not for Cheryl she wouldn't have any chance of getting on the show. I think we'll have a better chance of getting new Girls Aloud material if she flops.
