It can hurt though, especially if you're sunburnt or something like that. So she could have a perfectly valid reason.
People act like she is some huge **** when she quite clearly isn't. She always wears underwear, she doesn't do drugs, she doesn't frequently stumble out of night-clubs drunk and she doesn't hang around with the wrong people. And most importantly she isn't out having sex with anything that moves which is what makes a ****. So what if her musical persona is provocative...what female popstar (other than Swift) isn't? And don't say oh she is only 17 because hell no that is not a child, I know 14 year old people on this website that boast about doing far worse things than she does, I'd like to see how they would react to being called a child. 
Wearing shorts and dancing provocatively doesn't make anyone a ****, it makes them a normal teenager and teenagers are discovering thier sexuality, she is having to do that in the spotlight.
The girl works incredibly hard, she has only been in the business for what..4/5 years? And she has recorded 8 albums, starred in a TV show, starred in 2 released and 1 upcoming movie. That is a hell of a lot of work, so if she wants to relax with her family and not wear a bra one afternoon, who the hell cares? Her body, her life.

Well said.
There isn't anything wrong with Miley not wearing a bra for just going for lunch with her mum and sister. It isn't a big deal. I really don't see why people think she is a ****.

I rarely say anything like this but I genuinely think people hate Miley so much because she is young, beautiful and successful. She makes mistakes and is a normal girl and I think people find that hard to comprehend. I don't like to say jealousy is a reason for hating an artist but when it comes to Miley...it often appears to be.
People just want to see her fail, it's horrible, she is a person like anyone else on this forum and she deals so well with all the undeserved hate flying her way from people that don't know her, obviously she is privileged in many way's but I'd like to see people here deal with the **** she does

I absolutely agree with this and the rest of your posts in this thread. A lot of guys are not aware of the fact that there are numerous reasons for girls to not wear bras and it's being done frequently.
It's inappropriate to judge Miley based on that alone

There is indeed still unfairness going on in the world - uneven wages and job opportunities being some of them. We've come a long way (active and passive voting rights) but a lot still needs to be done unfortunately.

That was a great post and I agree, BUT I think she should be more careful. I mean...she KNOWS they're gonna take pictures of her and her fans are going to see it. But still, I get your point.
