Can't wait to pick this up. Comes out a day after MBDTF, so looks like I'll be getting both.

Honestly. His songs are debuting higher than Drake's were and there are literally like hundreds of articles following his every move. Albeit Runaway and Power didn't 'destroy' charts but Power was his best selling first 'rap' single ever, and Runaway should debut fine. However BOTH of those songs still garnered a lot of hype just because of Ye's star power alone. Plus he has GOOD Fridays which are killing the rap game right now with posse cuts from everyone (almost every GOOD Friday drop has been quality) and other features dropping every other day. Songs like All Of The Lights + Monster are hits already and he hasn't even officially released them lol. I think the problem is people tend to overlook rap sales period. I don't think anyone saw Jay-Z's 490k first week coming, and I would DEFINITELY say KanYe has more hype than Jay-Z did before releasing the Blueprint 3. Rick Ross did 200k and Trey Songz did like 220k and KanYe is WAY bigger than that c'mon lol.
EMA's on November 15 and AMA's on November 21st - Ye is already confirmed for the EMA's and I'm sure he'll do the AMA's, that's great promo since it's within a week of his album dropping!! Although his singles aren't exactly killing the charts, if he releases AOTL prior to releasing his album (which is a surefire hit), and keeps up with HUGE GOOD Fridays, makes use of both of those performances and do like talk shows (Ellen, late night shows) - it's a guarantee he's going gold in a week regardless. He already has a huge dedicated following. And I'm pretty sure he'll be doing all of that (maybe not AOTL) so I think my baby is going to do just fine
