Honestly, I feel bad for him because he couldn't handle all this and wish he realize he had issues and shoulld've gone help for it instead of killing himself.

Try being a gay person who is growing up in a small town with having to deal with constant homophobia, in a place where ignorance is so strong and powerful, and add to the top of that dealing with the struggle of fitting in a society that tells your lifestyle is wrong. It wouldn't be completely false if you did say that they were oppressed and ridiculed because they are in certain parts of the country.
