And yes, A Muse, the original Voodoo album is incredible from start to finish. Alexz is as indie as they come, though there's obvious drawbacks, like getting radio airplay and stuff. Her music is top notch though.
Seeing this thread on ATRL makes me happy Alexz herself may not like the negativity here though.

I get some relief from this. The Voodoo album is really amazing, and the idea of it being remixed I have to get used to, and then there's hearing the songs.... I really don't think anything about it can be improved.

Is Voodoo [remix] still confirmed to be the 2nd single?
I really, really, hope she makes a music video for that song, it defines this album.
It was never confirmed as the single, at best a "contender". At this point it could be any song though. I remember Demo, I think, tweeting that Stephen was joking there may need to be 6 singles released
Apparently the stuff is amazing, but Voodoo is the first album I've heard in many years, a very long time, where improving it seems uttering impossible. Alexz's support and approval means a lot to me.
Alexz herself may not like the negativity here though.
