There's too many people that use music sharing websites, they can't get them all arrested and shut them down. Too much time taken away from other important issues.
Besides, some of the best music isn't released to certain countries.
I usually get iTunes cards during Christmas and Birthdays, because they both are close together for me (my Birthday is January 13). Throughout the rest of the year, especially in these past two years, I haven't gotten my hands on many albums. The last album I physically purchased all by myself was "Can't Be Tamed" on June 23, 2010. Before that it was "All We Know Is Falling" by Paramore which was on January 31, 2009. In 2008, I purchased MANY albums that year:
So yeah, if I can't get to my music, I'll either download it for a music sharing website, or just buy it later.
But in the case of Can't Be Tamed, I listened to the album by downloading it a week BEFORE the album was available, THEN I purchased it. If my Mom had given me her laptop, I would do the same for A Year Without Rain, Teenage Dream, No Gravity, and probably Loud.
