Okay, So theres already a huge discussion about next years Grammy's , but we've still got this years AMA's to go. I guess that from the two , the Grammy's carries more weight, but somehow since the Grammy is a peer award I feel in some cases they are biased. The AMA's in that sense, are more fair.


This years show will take place on November 21, and we can expect nominees released soon (Probably aruod the 14th/15th of this month).

Obviously Micheal Jackson recieved many nominations due to his compilation album drastically increasing in sales after his death (Somewhat unfiar to the artists who made music in the current year, in my opinion). This year I guess most artists will stand a good chance .

Gloriana winning over Gaga, I simply cannot forget that moment. Gaga needs to win this year.

Is it voted or do they give awards to the artist who sold more?

Except for Katy Perry being nominated in this awards I haven't been a huge fan of this years nominees overall

Very well-deserved wins for Taylor Swift. She really was the biggest star last year.

Well, Gloriana had to beat out Zac Brown Band to get the nomination, which they did.

Kid Cudi beat out Drake. Keri Hilson beat out Jeremih. GaGa beat out Kings of Leon. Basically, two artists from each genre had to compete against each other to make the final four.
