Mew's legacy is backed by scientific facts. Scientists have studied Mew's DNA have have found that it's DNA contains the genetic code of all Pokemon, and in addition it can learn ANY Pokemon move (Mew is the ONLY Pokemon with this feat), which scientists say is explained by it having the genetic code of all Pokemon. Your logic is flawed, you can't say it is PROBABLY the original. It either is or isn't. Fact is that it has never been confirmed in any way.

And of course there is nothing to scientifically supporting Arceus' legend. Mew is the only dumb ass pokemon that would get caught long enough to get some DNA from it. I mean seriously
