I think Blogspot, Angelfire, and Webs.com do a much better job. Tumblr has too many restrictions on how much you can post and what IS a post. It would take 15 new posts to post highlights of an award show, for example, since it forces you to make a new post for each video. The other 3 I mentioned can do it in a single post.
This matters since it's MUCH easier to promote that 1 Award show post than your 15 uploaded video posts about it Tumblr would make you do.
