So how will Jennifer Lopez fare as a judge on "American Idol" this coming season? It is still far too early to know for sure, but one other powerful name in the music industry is voicing her opinion.
Here is what Black Eyed Peas member Fergie had to say about J. Lo in a new interview with "Entertainment Tonight:"
"She was a mentor on the show and I always thought she'd be perfect for it because she's so good at it. She really has the eye and she's an artist herself. I think she's gonna rock."
Fergie spent some time with Lopez over the weekend, as she took in some Miami Dolphins football action with her friend and fellow musician. "American Idol" is already hard at work getting set for the upcoming season -- the best performers from the audition cities are all not currently coming together to meet the panel and truly test their talent.
