I just thought about it, could LTWYL possibly be the reason for OG 'slow' updates?
Also, there are 5 songs with 10K plays...

It'd be a good excuse in a stan fight, but also easy to diminish since "OG" has moved so quickly up the radio charts. I wouldn't be surprised to cry payola on Def Jam.

I'm not trying to find excuses for Rihanna, I'm just starting a mature conversation. Not everything here is about 'stan fights'
OG now has a respectable position in the Top 40 format, much higher than it was when it started. It has more spins now, and probably have reached a stage where LTWYL spins are delaying OG. Not to mention that there are 5 songs with more than 10,000+ spins. That's crazy.

I only said it because this place is nothing but ridiculous stan fights, and thought you'd get that and maybe have a chuckle...sorry......
Anyways, I don't think "LTWYL" is causing "OG" to slow because it is the fastest declining song, also because it's not even apart of the 10,000+, yet the song that will likely grant "OG" the #9 position soon. It's bullet is also very severe. So nothing right now says it's hurting it.
As far as the Top 5 being overplayed, that's been the case for the Top 5 for a while now and it didn't hurt any of the other songs that made it into the "elite" group.
I personally feel "OG" just isn't a song that's going to survive all the way to such high amounts of spins. It's audience is also pretty low for being in the Top 10, with small gains. "Like A G6" is barely behind it, and will possibly pass tomorrow, and it's #15. It's just a case of appeal, and "OG" isn't that appealing.

After reading this novel, I came to the conclusion that this is acually kind of right. OG should be getting better updates. Oh well, the song is already a smash anyways and after video release it will probably start rising more.

IIRC, OG is the only song that had "large" spin increases lately. For few days / weeks the highest update was averagely 200. The other songs that made it to the Top 10 made it without us noticing it, and the OG updates are being followed day-by-day.
But OG isn't 'dead' yet. DJ need to hurry up with the video!

That's because Usher, Katy, Bruno are all regulars, they were all still doing really good. "OG" was being noted because it was a comeback to her Top 40 success, new song, etc.
I don't think it's dead, but it may be coming to it soon. I've said before BEP's new song is gonna hurt it next week.

Yes! "Bang Bang Get It".  And with their history, they waste no time digitally, so if Rihanna's gonna go #1 on the Hot 100, it needs to be in the next 2-3 weeks.
