Wrong, Justin Timberlake is treated very well by Jive as well and they give him so much creative control over his projects.....when he does decide to make music. As for Britney, they do invest more into her being their Golden Girl, but they haven't been the same Jive Records I remembered from early 00's. They don't promote new material to the level they should, certify albums or singles like they should, or update press releases fully like they should. Jive use to be the "IT" record label and now.....not so much so.

Is Crystal even releasing an album? It's a shame the final product won't be to her liking.

And it seems they have taken creative control away from Britney At least from Circus and the promotion and image of Blackout. The music videos could have been so awesome from that era (a.k.a. all the cut footage from the gimme more we never saw) but it was never fulfilled. *sigh*

Jive is a terrible record label. Almost as bad as Hollywood and Warner Bros. Jive only cares about who is making them $$ right that second and completely forgets they have other artists.

Because of the industry nowadays they only care about which artists make them more money, so if you don't seem likely to make music that'll sell then they'll change you to make the kind of music that sells or not give a damn about you and eventually drop you

The music industry is greedy and none of them are perfect labels to be on, they only want money and that's the way it is

I feel bad for allison and crystal because they both have extreme potential. Allison could be a great rock, pop/rock artist if promoted correctly. Crystal could be the next Alanis but record labels don't find that sound current enough to be a hit...

Jive just sucks.

Why are they surprised? Isn't that a given? They should've known that before signing. IDK why people complain so much about labels. Label is a company interested on profit, just like every other company in the world.

They allowed her to write a few songs for Circus and all, but nowhere near the amount of control she had with ITZ or Blackout. Hopefully, she has proven to them she deserves that control back once again.

I do feel for the smaller artists who are trying to break out. Most record labels put heavy attention on their go to moneymakers...not saying it's right, but it is what is.

Wrong, Justin had to go into his own pocket to fund FutureSex LoveSounds because Jive didnt support what he had in mind. Jive is the reason Justin couldnt work with the Neptunes on that CD (some disagreement between pharrell the clipse and jive) and Jive didnt believe in SexyBack as a single choice just like they didnt believe in Like I Love You, Justin's had to fight with Jive the entire way.

If what you guys are saying is true, that means that Archuleta is next , but they kept Lil Mama
