She did the right thing. Of course she have to prioritize her work because sooner or later, she may fade out like most of the people in the industry. She's really beautiful and talented, she can always find the right man for her in the right time. Brody should understand that she has work to be finished and that he could still celebrate a post-birthday celebration with her. It's not that hard.

That day? Brody had like a week long celebration for his birthday and that week Avril was in New York working with Pharell Williams on some music, or so it was reported that it was him. She was in New York that week in the studio though.
