I don't really like her voice in it either at times it gets too high especially that "we love them" bit.

Gaga has a lot more common sense and intellect than the usual popstar.

I personally wouldn't worry and if she wants to get political she sure as hell well, she is a very headstrong woman which is one of the reasons I love her. As long as the music stay's catchy I don't see a problem in the near future.
