This woman is full of sh*t. It's amazing how stupid and brainwashed Americans have become that they are taking advice from scanty celebrities. I have nothing against gay people, but instead of just assuming the Don't Ask, Don't Tell is based upon discrimination and hatred for gays, you must look at the effect that homosexuality causes in the military. It's for the same reasons women aren't allowed to fight alongside men. Because of DISTRACTION. Soldiers don't need to have relationships on their mind when they are on duty.

even if you believe it's a fair policy that was established with a reasonable goal, it is not even executed properly. The military is actively searching people's E-Mails and other information, something which - even by DADT standards, is illegal.

I know she has strong feeling about this and all, but it just in a way bothers me that she has to get so involved with it. I wish she would do stand up for something like Lupus for people who are suffering are DYING. I'm losing her honestly. Unfortunately, life isn't always fair and people just have to deal with that.

That's your opinion and a LOT of people do not feel that way about it. Any human being should be able to serve openly in the military, and that's the BOTTOM LINE. That's all that's being said here. Equal treatment.

Other men in the military are allowed to talk about their women back at home (same goes for women talking about their husbands/boyfriends they've left back at home), yet "others" [gays] in the military are forced to be silenced and if they don't keep hush, hush about it, they're thrown out of the military.

It's just injustice to a lot of people, and Lady GaGa has realized that with her fame her voice is now a megaphone and she is able to speak out about things she firmly believes in and stands for. Just because she's a celebrity/pop star doesn't mean she doesn't have the same voice & rights as any other human, that's what free speech is all about.

I'm sorry, but that's a really weak excuse. Many men in the military are constantly thinking about the women they've left at home with or without children, and they're allowed to talk about it (as do straight women). If you believe in what you said, then it should be fair and these soldiers should have to shut up about it as well.
