I think Katy and Lady GaGa are the only two pop stars that have emerged in the later half of the last decade, who actually stand a chance of occupying a similar place in the pop culture as Britney, Beyonce, P!nk and Xtina.
I kinda agree with you but although they can come close to them, they will never be as big as them. I hope Katy can be as big as them though!

Katy Perry will always be remembered at least for I Kissed a Girl and California Gurls. Hot N Cold, Waking Up In Vegas and Teenage Dream are also huge hits She doesn't disappoint
