So guys, I was just wondering, wasn't she supposed to announced the album title and reveal the tattoo in January?
Now that she's done it does this mean we can expect new music much earlier?
It's certainly a possibility and I hope she does decide to release earlier. I think she should release the first single before Xmas to take advantage of the strong sales during that period. Unfortunately it probably won't happen, eveyone seems to think it's going to be early next year before we hear anything.
Although that seems to have hurt Katy Perry's album sales - Paul from Yahoo just did a story on that.
She released her album too late. You can't really compare the two anyway IMO. Katy is a singles artist who doesn't have a strong fanbase. Lady GaGa can sell singles and albums, releasing two singles before the album is going to build up a lot of hype. As long as they are to the standard that we have come to expect from GaGa then everything will be OK.
