Hi, i thought that i'd have a go at starting an offical atrl countdown, after several attempts that eventually stopped! I'am limiting to just 40 songs compared to previous ones of a 100, i thought that A) that's alot of work to much and B) they were so irratic it was a mess.
So here's the formula I'll be working with is that you send in ( or i check your cd/c if you link me to it on the thread after every update) your top tracks from 1 - 20 then i add them up and give a points total.
E.g I ask if everyone can send in 15 song but if you want to send in just 5 that's fine, 5 min, 20 max, place them in order if your current favourite to your least and send to me and if you cannot rank them/order them i will randomly select your number 1 ect...
. So this is an example of what you would send in
1 Enrique Iglesias ft Pitbull- i like it
2 Nelly - Like a dream
3 Rihanna - Only girl ( In the world )
4 Nicki Minaj - Your love
5 B.O.B. ft Rivers Cuomos - Magic
6 Willow Smith - Whip My Hair
7 Katy Perry - Peacock
8 Yolanda Be Cool & Dcup - We No Speak Americano
9 Katy perry - Teenage dreams
10 Flo rida Ft David Guetta - Club Cant Handle Me
11 Eminem ft Rhianna - Love the way you lie
12 Treys songs ft Niki Minaj - Bottems Up
13 Nicki Ft William - Check it out
14 Kings of Leon - Radioactive
15 Bruno Mars - Just the Way You Are
The first song will be awarded 20 points on a sliding scale to 1 song award for the 20th song, if you send less songs in say 10 it just the same points per postion

The Final weekly 40 will be based on the number of points each song aaccumulates from the entrys of you guys
. The chart will be based on my top 20 chart and look something like follows

Abit About the point system on the chart.
The chart has two ways of tracking the success of the song on atrl top 40.
The first being Postion Points, which is the number of points it's awarded based on the postion of the song within the chart, number one will be awarded 40 points on a sliding scale to 40th being awarded one.
And voted points, which is equlivent to sales figures i guess, the voted points is equal to the total sum of points the songs has gained from the submissions. For example if Rihanna - Only girl ( in the world ) received 3 votes at 1st place for that week it would get a total 60 vote points
