Shakira is reported to have signed up for an Indian film, playing the Hindu goddess Kaali.
The Colombian musician will star in the title role of Kaali: The Warrior Goddess, reports Mumbai Mirror
The producer of the film Karan Arora said: "Kaali: The Warrior Goddess will be a 3D motion film shot on CG. It will be a full-length, two-hour Hindi film to be shot in London, or then in a city in Eastern Europe."
Arora stated that he wanted to cast an international star in the project.
"Shakira is on board. She has agreed in principle. She has said yes when my co-producer met her. But she is yet to sign on the dotted line. The money is being worked out quickly," he added.
Other international popstars to have worked in Bollywood include Kylie Minogue, Holly Valance and Emma Bunton.

But it is not a Bollywood film. Not in the Hindi language (at least not all of it), director not Hindi, nor the crew is Hindi, nor the funding for it was Hindi, etc.
