Gaga is talented, and her voice was really beautiful last night, but come on.

xtina has best range but gaga has more control.. she can sing everything

also xtina has a good voice but not that great ( listen to amy wnehouse or kate bush or tori amos or even florence)

gsga voice is average but she studied a lot and she has a lot of control over it..

this isn't a shade towards xtina.. xtina is great in the ballads ( gaga could never sing hurt so well) but she screams so much in other songs

I love both Gaga and Christina, and I'm really happy for all the awards she received last night.

But bringing Christina down in this same thread is uncalled for, and belongs in SYG.

Gaga is so vocally unadventurous, she pretty much stays completely in her mid-register and doesn't use her voice in any exciting way, whereas Christina is a vocal genius, the things she can do with her voice and she really knows how to use it to wow people.

Which is not necessarily a very hindering thing since it's very comparable to Madonna - and we know how that turned out.

But in the aspects of vocal ability, Christina is far ahead in my opinion.

I love Gaga, but I love her for her fun lyrics, exciting performances and crazy outfits, not her vocals, which are strong but unexciting.
