This is mine, it took a while for this one to be funny, it was that cringey at the time...

My best friend's older sister (I'd known them since I was like 2) was getting married and I got invited to her hen party. The wedding was the next day so we all agreed to hold back a bit on the drinking. The bride-to-be didn't follow through and was so out of it she tried to get up onto the bar to dance and slipped, hitting her mouth on the bar. It was actually quite horrifying at the time because she chipped her tooth really badly and was hysterical.
The next day she had to smile with her mouth closed in the pictures and was sick several times before the ceremony. She now has a veneer. Only 4 months on can I appreciate the hilarity of the incident

Also nearly getting arrested was quite annoying at the time but now I find it totally hilarious

I once had to go with my mate's mum to get her from the police station after an incident (the mum who thinks I'm a 'bad influence' on her little angel...). How come you were nearly arrested?
