I don't care so much about this, as other already said, the Latin Grammys are nothing in Latin America, but I'm glad that they nominated to Gustavo Cerati, Cuarteto de Nos, Diego Torres, Nelly Furtado, and some more.

Well, Nelly has been working harder than them. Juanes hasn't released his album yet, and Julieta hasn't been so "on" on her album.

"Primera Fila" was massive in Mexico on the verge on going Diamond over there (only Luis Miguel still goes Diamond there!) and "Equivocada" was a big hit all over Latin America, don't lie.

And seriously, who the hell picks the music video nominees??? Becuse I could've come up with a more decent list of 5. How Adammo's video (which is a well-produced video, but nothing special) made it and this one didn't is beyond me...

I think the album wasn't elegible because it had more songs in english than spanish.

However I think she was elegible for the spanish versions of her singles for Record, Song and Video. I'm surprised they didn't give her at least one nomination because even Bello Embustero (the spanish version of Beautiful Liar) got a nomination in 2007

^ Her record company only sent in "Waka Waka" in the Grammy Entry submission list for Record Of The Year & "Gitana" for Latin Music Video of the year. Basically they didn't give a ****.
