100k? Just.....
I didn't either. I was guessing Top 30?
South Korea is in the top 20, and the best selling album so far sold more than 200K. Stop being bitchy SO.UNCOOL
Korea's sales used to be good. A lot of artists sold more than 1 million with their albums back in the 90's...but Windows 98 and the piracy appeared...:-/

I didn't know stating facts was being b!tchy. You K-Pop stans are TOO MUCH
The number 1 album in Korea so far this year is Super Junior's 'BONAMONA' and it's sold just over 100k without counting the re-release. Get ur facts right.
For Albums - Platinum
Japan - 250,000
Korea - 10,000
.....
Where did you get this from? Totally fake, sorry. If this was true, then Korea has one diamond and a 2x diamond album certified THIS year.(SNSD's Oh!/Run Devil Run and Super Junior's BONAMANA) And with the music industry the way it is now, I think it's kinda not possible :-/
Which country has the larger market doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the music. If that's the point you're trying to use to prove J-pop is better... Well, it isn't one.
Which one is better is totally subjective anyway. In my opinion, J-pop ballads are >>>>> but K-pop uptempo slays J-pop uptempo.

I was going to ask for Big Bang's record sales but i'll pass.

Then what is Platinum in Korea? I've always heard it's 10k.

And these are only offline sales. They already sold 210K until August (170K without the repackage)
Sorry honey, I'm right
Too bad I was referring to the original version and not the repackaged one.
Korea counts them separately unlike the U.S. who adds the re-release sales to the original.
So I'm still rite, now go take your seat back in the corner

No, you said they sold over 100K, and their album already sold more than 120K only with physical sales. I don't know how they are doing digitally, but the album should be at 150K overall without B-side and repackage sales

Exactly, I said it sold over 100k. 120k-150k is over 100k sweetie. You don't know basic math either?
