I mentioned Gaga because she is so famous, it is literally impossible for her to walk anyway without being recognised. I love Gaga and am one of her biggest Little Monsters. I am more of a fan of her and who she is, as a person rather than her music; nonetheless I am still a huge fan of her music.
Justin Beiber is not acting like a diva and yes, he is 16-yrs old and its ok for him ask for some privacy. He's just saying that it would be nice if his fans would talk to him and attempt to strike up a conversation, rather than scream at him.
With Beyonce' not being a diva, that was a joke.
With Mariah Carey being a diva, her fan know she is a diva and they buy into that. There was an article from some British newspaper who has an interview with Mariah, and they said Mariah is a diva and has to always be in control, because she's lost if she isn't.

That post I made previously; I wasn't trying to say Gaga is nice with her fans. I know she is nice with her fans; I wasn't stating that she wasn't. I said that it's OK for her to be diva-ish at times. She is under a huge amount of pressure and scrutiny and things have to be perfect; people expect a lot from her.
Mariah is very nice. She came onto the British X-Factor and she was very nice, kind and encouraging. She also came onto the Alan Carr 'Chatty Man' Show and the host got himself wet (not pun intended) and she was cleaning him off. She was very nice, kind and was never once, was horrible or unpleasant.
All these celebs have made diva-ish demands but they are so successful, that many people put up with it because they respect the artist, who they are, what they have achieved and are very professional.
I think this Justin Beiber-thing was taken out of context. It's hard to be 16-yrs old and to be in the public eye whilst trying to lead as-normal life as possible whilst your picture is everywhere, your songs are played everywhere and you are being chased, harrassed and screamed at everywhere.

Normally I will not come into Bieber topics but in this case he is 100% right. There is nothing all that diva-ish about what he said. He doesn't want to be bothered when he is eating and doesn't want fans acting like idiots around him. His fans will not oblige but I don't blame him for wanting that. If I was famous (not happening but I can dream), I would want fans to act normally around me and not bother me when I'm eating either. Would you want a screaming 11 year old girl who sounds out of breath and might faint coming up to you at a restaurant saying "OMG, I love you. You are so awesome. Please marry me!"
