Impressive, but my faves are more concerned with winning the slam titles than doing some cute little tricks on the court.

Let me remind you that Schiavone won a French Open title this year

Plus she's petite, only 5'4" I think, so just the fact that she can win against those tall athletic girls speaks volumes about her talents.

remind you: Justine Henin Hardenne's height is 5 ft 5 in (165 cm) and she won 7 grand slams

I've heard that Henin is 167cm, but that don't make a big difference. Henin and Schiavone are the only short girls who have won a grand slam recently. Plus Schiavone is a late bloomer, so more is to come I believe.

Venus already has 7 major titles and a career Grand Slam for major finals. Moving on...

Just kidding! But seriously, that shot was incredible! Not only between the legs, but an amazing crosscourt drop shot at the same time!

The point here is that Schiavone being deprived of height and natural athletisism has to work twice as hard and has to rely on her natural tennis gift and the amazing feel of the ball. Usually players like her are the reason for the existance of "smart" tennis. If not the likes of her, Henin, Schnyder and just couple of others, tennis would be a very boring sport, where girls need to hit as hard as possible to win.

I admire this girl for playing smart tennis and still winning a grand slam.
