i guess its juz becuz her label suggested her to use a "softer tone" in the debut single.
juz like gaga used a "softer tone" in just dance.
u can find the different of gaga's voice between just dance and porker face easily.
and we all know tht she can sing in a much "tougher" tone....
juz listen to "activate my heart" "love is a suicide" or even "dun play nice".
