A personal survivor like no other!
Right before voting began on this game, I asked everyone to complete
a short survey on their opinions of my song choices. Now, I have the results available to share.
The survey consisted of three parts, the first of which asked participants to
rate each song either "Excellent," "Could have been better" or "Terrible."

An
interesting point about part one: the
results change slightly when looking at the vote averages instead of simply what category a song fell into.
- For example, all of the votes for "Baby One More Time," which was voted "Could have been better," received the same average rating as "My Immortal," which was deemed "Excellent."
- Meanwhile, The Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby" received almost equal votes across the board and barely squeaked into the "Excellent" category, rating lower than many songs deemed "Could have been better."
A closer look at the percentage breakdown of votes reflects this fact:

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in this survey. It was a really fascinating experiment for me personally and I hope you all have enjoyed the results as well. As always, I want to open a dialogue, so please let me know what you think. Any shocking results that you completely disagree with? For song choices that "Could have been better," what would you have picked instead? Alright, see you all soon with round 2!
