Perry also professes to like Lady Gaga, despite an earlier tweet that Gaga's use of religious imagery in her Alejandro video "was as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke."
"I think it's a good time for pop music, because there is someone like Lady Gaga who is pushing the limits so far that it gives us girls, like, room to just like play. And I think someone like my friend Rihanna, she's come so far, and visually, and just her whole personality. And I think Ke$ha's cute, and I think there is strong estrogen amongst us."
When I heard The Fame Monster, I was like, 'What the f*** is she talking about - teeth and he ate my heart and monster and dance in the dark and s***?' I thought she was such a shock jock. Then I saw her on the American Music Awards, and I was like, 'You're an animal of another kind, and we need you!' She's amazing. She's an entertainer, a visual arts. And her lyrics do mean things when you actually break them down.
The one Teen Dreamer just posted and tried to make look less shady by bolding the good part. Although him/her doing that was pointless because I specifically stated earlier how Katy USED to feel about Gaga before she supposedly started liking her.
I also found the shock jock comment coming from Katy hilarious.
Actually that wasn't my intention, I don't play that way. Anyway, I don't know why you consider the comments as hypocritical, if Katy doesn't likes something she wont pretend she does, no matter what. And you all know its true.
And what does Katy liking or not liking Gaga music have to do with HER of all people calling someone a shock jock and being thrown off by Gaga's lyrics?
