The black (primarly church going) community has always hated the gay community, and still does. Yes, hate is a strong word but at some point homophobia just becomes too ineffective to use, therefore hate is more appropriate. The crazy thing is that even the liberal sector of this community embraces the hate. There's no balance whatesoever.

And when we voted on Propr 8 a couple of years ago in Ca, the black churches were among the biggest contributers to the hateful intiative. So unsurprisingly, black people voted dissproportiantely high for Prop 8 leading to it's passage, which led to a host of other problems as otherwise level headed people instantly became hateful and started painting ALL blacks as being hateful....

Too many blacks are too religious IMO, and religion is just too hateful, which is a FACT!!
