You're right, not in the same SENSE. Gaga's impact is more similar to Madonna's because those two's impact was largely hinged on their FASHION sense, that's why people compare gaga to MJ, Prince and Madonna.
But in terms of sheer magnitude? Britney's "cultural force" is much closer to MJ and Madonna than Gaga's....MUCH closer.
Stop overrating her, Gaga has yet to break an impressive record. Fact.
