Why do some people bash artists because their sound,look,etc is considered "too mainstream" to them? Also what do you think of the stereotype that "mainstream music is horrible/crappy/low quality"?

these losers are just pressed cos they + their favs are unpopular and could never live up to the likes of britney, gaga ect.
Mainstream clearly is great music, otherwise it wouldnt be 'mainstream' and no one would buy it.

Its not always 'Jealousy', some of the main stream people are talentless compared to the unheard talent out there in the world. Mainstream isnt all about the music anymore, its all about image, which is wrong but hey what can we do about it
