Joe McElderry has revealed a number of artists helping him on his new album.

The X Factor winner, who has been working on his debut record since winning the talent show last year, said singers including Rihanna and Cher will feature on the LP.

In a video blog he said: "I know you're all so eager to hear the album. We're about halfway through the process of recording now.

"I've been working with some amazing people, some fantastic acts such as Rihanna, Pussycat Dolls, Enrique Iglesias, Cher... I'm so excited about everything.

"It's absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to get out there and perform all the tracks and to see you all very soon."

It will stop him from being another Leon Jackson. I wasn't looking forward to his album but sounds like it might be interesting now

errrrrr.... what? I think what he meant to say was he was working with those artists writers? I can't imagine him collaborating with any of them! Hope its true though!

or he is gonna use PCD lounge girls in his performances xD

He said the people he is currently recording with (producers/writers) have worked with Cher, Rihanna and PCD ect.

Yeah, I watched the video, he said the writers and producers have worked with those artists. He isnt actually working with them :/
