La tortura is EPIC in every way... when did a spanish song smash just like la tortura did??? NEVER. The power of our latin goddess

I like La Tortura but i'd die if she did anyting reminescent of the masterpiece that is "Wherever Whenever"..

By far one of her best melodies imo, so i'd love another song that could match or top its "anthemness". I also love the different latin influences in the production. African drums and Andean flute music combined sounds so wordly

I think she sounds unusually SEXUAL. like the "ays" and panting she does are sexy but the moans on gordita are on another level.. a music vid would be HAWT but it shouldnt be the first single. like i said i wasnt blown away.


also am i like strange but why do i love the song she wolf. i STILL think its a brilliant pop song. brillz! If we are mentioning anthems.. i must say.. she will never EVER top the godliness that is THE FABulous ...................

She's played Gordita three times at different festivals.

I agree with man*****, Gordita doesn't have the anthem status that previous first singles like La Tortura, Whenever Wherever or the epic pop She Wolf had. She should release something else as first single and then Gordita as a second or third.

I would also like it if she had a song like "border" on the album...

I love how she uses her voice in that song when she says responds to wycleff saying "huh", and also the high pitched tone when she says "stars are so bright"

hopefully the first single is in the vein of her Latin-sounding hits like Whenever, Wherever, Ojos Asi, etc.... hopefully the album will be full of songs like those, Waka Waka, and Hips Don't Lie, but of course with several surprises in addition

I can't get over She Wolf neither, that song is just perfect, I hate to say it but it's one of my Shakira favorite songs :heart:

^ mine too, when the album first came out, I really loved it, now it's kinda meh... listen to it once in a while, it's good but not PERFECT.... but "She Wolf" the song is PERFECTION, along with "Men In This Town"... "She Wolf" is one of my most played songs on my iPod.
