Well so far it's been promoted on American Idol, Gossip Girl, The Hills & is played around the clock on MTV through the VMA advert.
They can't FORCE people to buy it

Obviously people like it. Why it didn't fare well when she promoted it is beyond me, idk maybe bad timing?

You also have to promote in the right places. The audience for "American Idol" is huge, but it's probably not going to buy "Rockstar 101."
