IMO Alexandra is Beyonce-wannabe there's nothing special or memorable about her 
Her voice really bores me 
And plz stop the comparision,Leona's voice will blow Alex's out of the water ,and Leona doesn't need dancing skill to pull out a worldwide smash hit

But you can't just do similar songs again and again. Alexandra has shown she can dance, she can really perform and own the stage doing the up-tempo songs as well and isn't just a ballad girl...

Overcome debuted on the UK albums chart with 132,000.
So you mean to tell me that Leona Lewis, who is coming off the worldwide success that was 'Spirit' with the worldwide smash single 'Bleeding Love' with all the promotion she did only managed to sell 30,000 more copies of her SOPHOMORE album, than the debut album of someone else whose work as a solo artist is unknown?

The original point that was brought up is Echo vs Overcome - not their debut albums versus eachother.

Their winning singles don't define what genre their going to go into. 'A Moment Like This' is nothing close to what genre and type of artist Kelly Clarkson became...so yes, Alex was a generally unknown variable in terms of what type of genre or niche she would place herself into.
And the debut isn't the sad part...the sad part is that this was Leona's SECOND ALBUM, the one that was supposed to solidify her into fame and it didn't. If there is anything sad, it's that she had Bleeding Love on the last album and her first album smashed, but her second didn't.

Darling, an X Factor winner's debut album should sell a lot more than 132k, you have all the hype from the show and all the pre-orders from the fans of the show. Even the runners up JLS outsold her

LOL, true.
Although, they outsold Echo in first week sales too...and Echo sold about 2 million worldwide. JLS sold about 1.2 in the UK alone.

All of Echo was trash with the exception of 'Cant Breathe' and 'I Got You'...it's like they sat there and thought "how about if we make every song filler material."
