It would appear the Mayans were actually more tolerant of homosexuality than their Western counterparts, so let's not start mixing belief systems. Not to mention that they didn't believe that the world would end in 2012 and we're not even going to start on how sketchy their calendar system was.

I am gay and I also believe in God and have fear of Him. There are two forces in me battling. One is saying that I am His creation. The other, that my sexual preference is a curse and that it doesn't please Him. I don't know where to stand. I can't change the way I am. Genetically, psychologically this is me. If I could choose, I would choose to live my life in accordance with the social norms. But then again, this is me. Nothing I can do about it. Nobody chooses his/her own prefered sexuality. I know He understands things better than any individual in this world and He has a purpose for letting such things happen. So I let it all up to Him. To God be the glory.
