It is for me, there's nothing special about it and I absolutely hate it. Anytime it comes on the radio, I have to turn it. Nothing good about it, sorry. It was nice at the moment of it's release, but blah.
I doubt she will top the greatness aka Rated R when it comes to quality but I think this album will be for the hits like GGGB, as long as she keeps staying fierce and adds a little bit of dark/edgy into her songs, I'm all over it

I feel the same way. Rated R was my favorite album released last year. I'm hoping she can find a nice compromise between commerce and ingenuity with the next album because I'd hate for the mainstream or her label to lose faith in her.

And the Hot 100 agrees with me.
Jared, the word "sans" means "without." Rico was basically saying he didn't want any of those faux-rockstar songs on the next album.

I had no idea.
I am sure her next album will be more mainstream-leaning, which could be a good thing. As much as I enjoy Rated R, I think 'fun' Rihanna needs to make a comeback and find a stable platform in the industry.
