But she was a NEW ARTIST. People can't seem to understand that. When you have people like Katy and even Gaga who have a massive hit, that does NOT immediately translate to album sales. Look at Gaga with Just Dance when her album was released long before it became a number one hit. Come Poker Face time, though, she saw her sales increase. Then with TFM rerelease, after she was well known and had a lot of hits under her belt, she got even better sales. Katy has seen spectacular sales with her singles, and will only continue. Now an accredited singer who is well-known, she will do better.
@ the people saying Katy will only move like 200k opening week.
