No no no!! This isn't a remake of the Disney animated movie! It's another take on the Hua Mu Lan folk tale. Mushu, the cricket, and the grandma are all Disney creations, and will most likely not be in the live-action movie. EDIT: Well, there's a good chance that there will be a grandma, but I think you know what I mean. :P

For example, there was a Mulan movie released in China in 2009 with a different storyline: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulan_(2009_film) The only similarity is that Mulan, a young woman, takes the place of her elderly father in a Chinese war effort.
