Pink: 'Eminem is poetic and hilarious'


Pink has described Eminem as "one of the most poetic" and comical artists in the entertainment industry.

The singer, who collaborated with the rap superstar on his Recovery track ‘Won't Back Down’, also revealed how surprised she was to have been spared from the rapper’s past feuds with pop stars.

Speaking to Spin, she said: "I think he's one of the most poetic, ballsy and hilarious people this industry has ever seen.

"I was always afraid he'd pick me as a target, but he's always been nice to me and finally approached me to be on the album, so I must have done something right."

Last month, Eminem praised Pink’s talent on their new song together.

Because he dissed pretty much every female artist in the industry thoughout 01-02-03, for no apparent reason really.

Yea of course I knew it but P!nk didn't have to be afraid of anything at all, as I expected that she is P!nk.

Behind her tough-girl image she was a 21 y.o. vulnerable girl seeing his peers getting dissed by the most influential male artist in the industry. Being a mature woman now she admits that she didn't want to be dissed by Em.

Eminem and his sense of humour sucks big time but whatever.. It's easy to tell when Pink really loves someone or just tries to be nice, this is obviously a case of the latter, look how she avoids commenting on his music. Wish she dissed him in a song before lol.

I agree, she might not LOVE Em or LOVE his music, but she sure respects him, otherwise she would't agree to work with him.

[RANTMODE] Am i the only one who was a little dissapointed with P!nk for collaborating with Eminem? I have huge respect for P!nk because she fights for what she believes in and doesnt take any ********. But why would she collaborate with someone who has such misoginistic, sexist, violent lyrics? Im a fan of Eminem too but I do think some of his lyrics are disgusting, wether its intended or not. Ive always thought of P!nk as a total badass but then she comes out with "I was always afraid he'd pick me as a target...I must have done something right." I partially agree I'm not a fan of their collaboration

buuut...having a badass image doesn't mean that she doesn't have any feelings. She has claimed herself to be vulnerable and obviously wouldn't want to be dissed (who would), so she was honest about it and I appreciate that.
