I keep seeing all this negativity in this thread (Lets not forget, some of ya'lls faves cant act worth crap.). I.e. the woman who played in "Obsessed" and "Dream Girls".
I can't wait to see how this movie turns out. I'm surprised her first movie is a movie of this nature. I really didn't expect it. I thought it would either be a horror flick or some kind of love story. I'm somewhat nervous, and somewhat excited at the same time. KUDOS for finally getting that acting gig.
P.S. to everybody bashing her acting skills in "Bring It On", thats very petty. It was her very first movie and she wasn't even a real character. She played herself. Come on now, lets get real. For you to judge her on playing herself is redonkulous.
Halle Berry received awful criticism at the beginning of her career, an later on she became the first black woman to win an Academy Award for Best Actress. Now, I'm not saying Rihanna has Oscar potential, but her acting can improve.
