After all, an album title is an important aspect of an era

I don't know. But neither do you, so saying "it's because" like you're for sure is meh. I doubt it's that mainly because that has been the working title since 2008, so why would he change it now Besides "ass" is not even that strong of a curse word anymore, so doubtful it forces a change. I just think he wants a different title.
