I actually like this but his newest album I find uninspiring and I think he's turned his back a bit on the UK scene since he had a hit in America

I completely agree with that but truth be told, I don't think he was ever gonna smash in the UK. His sound has always been too american for the UK urban scene and his US profile has saved him because he barely had a career in the UK.
